Jae is MIGA’s Head of South Asia, based in New Delhi, responsible for developing MIGA’s credit enhancement and political risk insurance business in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan and Afghanistan. 

Jae joined MIGA in 2012 as an underwriter in the Infrastructure team based in Washington D.C., focusing on the water and transportation sectors. In 2016, Jae moved to Seoul, South Korea to lead MIGA’s business origination efforts in North Asia region. 

Prior to joining MIGA, Jae worked at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore and Seoul, where he provided project and export finance solutions for infrastructure projects in Asia, Middle East and Africa. Jae also worked at Samsung C&T in the Project Development team from 2004 to 2006. 

 

Jae earned an MBA from INSEAD in 2009 and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Yonsei University in 2004.
